The Foundation for Personality and Social Psychology is pleased to announce the outcome of the 2015 Heritage Dissertation Awards. We received many more outstanding proposals than we were able to fund, and have selected these individuals as recipients of $1000 research grants:

William Brady, New York University
Kassandra Cortes, University of Waterloo
Brittany Jakubiak, Carnegie Mellon University
Jinhyung Kim, Texas A&M University
Yeonjeong Kim, Carnegie Mellon University
Erin Westgate, University of Virginia
Ashley Whillans, The University of British Columbia

The Heritage Dissertation Research Awards program is a competition for dissertation research funding. The purpose of these awards is to assist doctoral students in personality and social psychology with research costs associated with their doctoral dissertations. Funds for these awards are provided by contributions to the Foundation's Heritage Initiative, which honors some of the field's great teachers and scientists by assisting the next generation of scholars. The current roster of honorees can be seen at Heritage Wall of Fame.

The intent of the Foundation is to increase the number of awards in the future as additional funds become available. If you wish to make a contribution or nominate an outstanding scientists and mentor for recognition, please visit out Donation page and feel free to contact the President of the Foundation, Harry Reis.
